Merchants Bank of Indiana Hires New VP, Business Development Officer, SBA Lending

Printer icon CARMEL, Ind. – Merchants Bank of Indiana (NASDAQ:MBIN) (“Merchants Bank”), today announces the hiring of Robert Stringer as Vice President, Business Development Officer, Small Business Administration (SBA) Lending. Currently, Stringer is working from his home in Dallas, Texas. Robert Stringer HeadshotStringer brings more than 10 years of experience to his new role at Merchants Bank, having most recently served as senior vice president, loan production officer at Bank of Hope in Dallas. In this position, Stringer was responsible for more than $6 million in SBA 7(a) loan originations. In his new role with Merchants Bank SBA Lending, Stringer will be responsible for originating SBA 7(a) and 504 loans as well as leveraging his existing referral network and business contacts within the Dallas area and throughout the larger central south region. He also served as vice president, business development officer for Capital CDC Dallas where he originated nearly $10 million in both SBA 7(a) and 504 loans individually for four consecutive years. Stringer is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor of business administration in marketing. He also received an MBA management from the University of Dallas.
