SEND MONEY TO ANYONE, ANYTIME WITH MERCHANTS PAY
Merchants Pay is a person-to-person payment service that enables customers to send money to friends, family or anyone with a U.S.-based bank account directly from their Merchants Bank of Indiana account. This new service is FREE to both the sender and recipient, and is a convenient payment solution for depositing funds directly into the recipient’s account. All you need is an email address or mobile phone number of the recipient, and you can quickly send money with a few simple swipes.
TO ACCESS MERCHANTS PAY
From the Merchants Bank of Indiana Mobile App, log in to the app from your iPhone or Android mobile phone. Access Merchants Pay Person-to-Person payments by touching “More” from the menu bar, then select Merchants Pay from the available services.
TO SEND MONEY
From the Send Money screen, enter the recipient’s email or mobile phone number, confirm the entry, and enter the amount to send. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the transfer. The first time you use Merchants Pay, you will need to enter your Merchants Bank debit card number. The app will remember this information for future transactions.
The recipient will receive either an email or text message confirming the transfer with instructions to deposit the funds into their own account.
Merchants Pay from your mobile phone is easy and convenient. However, if you prefer to conduct your electronic banking on a personal computer instead of your mobile phone, Merchants Pay is also available via online banking.
